My thoughts:

I have watched many series as of now, however, none of them scream HOME like this one does. First time I watched this series back in 2014, I was hooked. I did not know the word “Binge watching” at that time, given it was not something people used to do. But, that is exactly what I did. I binged watched this show. At the end, I cried my eyes out. I have had not expected that this show will grow on me when I first started watching it. I never knew it would have some emotional episodes where I will wail up like a baby. Everything was proved wrong as I continued watching it. I could not say you enough about this show. Rest assured, I will be certainly putting across many articles about this show in coming days.

The reason I started watching this show was because of the hype of course. However, every time I rewatch this show is because it makes my heart go all mushy. Every one of us have hard days and stormy nights, but this is the show that makes you feel you will have sunshine at the end. It makes you believe in yourself. It makes you have faith and makes you understand that you are not alone in this world. It heals you in ways you could never have imagined. I mean, come on it’s just a show is what you will probably say yourself. But, I will stop you there my friend. It is NOT JUST A SHOW, it is a WHOLE LOT OF EMOTION!

You can relate to all the statements and dialogues and the reactions portrayed by all the characters. Nothing in this show will make you feel out of the blue or un-relatable. You will learn a great deal from each of the characters and more. This show bought into light so many of the social issues and made it feel like there is a way everything can be sorted. It not just highlighted the situation but also made you understand the gravity of it and gave solutions as well. Most importantly it just made you realize that “life goes on” and we can never be too careful of not making any mistakes because mistakes are the stepping stones of life. Making mistakes just make us realize that there is a scope of improvement. Starting with Rachel running away from a marriage alter leaving a Man ‘coz she never loved him to Phoebe’s surrogacy to Ross’s anger management till Monica’s adoption this show covers some really difficult social issues and gives you amazing tips about how to snap out of it as well as normalizes every situation in a beautiful manner.

In the next friends post I will be saying about what social issue did the show pointed out and how they solved it. Keep watching this space for more!
